Publishing Content
Every post in Amplicast moves through four stages, visible at the top of the Content tab:
Raw → In transform → For review → Scheduled & Published
There are three ways to get content into that pipeline.
1. Manual creation (Create tab)
Write a post yourself and publish it anywhere:
- Write your content (the AI adapts it per platform on publish).
- Attach an image — Upload, paste a URL, generate with AI, or pick from your Gallery (recently generated masters, library covers, images from your article bodies).
- Optionally pick a Brand template and/or a filter under Transform Options.
- Select the channels in the sidebar and Publish now or Schedule.
Every platform gets its own adapted caption and its own correctly-sized image variant. Save draft stores your work as a Raw item you can reopen later.
2. From Raw items ("Create posts")
Synced articles, pushed content, and saved drafts live in the Raw stage. From there:
- Open in Create — loads the item into the editor for full manual control.
- Create posts — pick the target channels and a mode:
- Transform + Review: the AI adapts the content per platform; posts wait for your approval in For review.
- Publish automatically: posts go live right after the AI transform.
While posts are being created you'll see a "Creating posts…" strip in the Content tab — one line per platform, with a clear error if anything fails. Re-promoting the same item later adds new posts to the same content group.
3. Automatic (source publish modes & Autopilot)
A content source can create posts for every newly synced item automatically, in the same Review or Autopilot modes. The Autopilot tab generates original on-brand posts from topics on a schedule.
The review stage
Posts in For review wait for a human decision:
- Edit opens the post: adjust the caption, title, hashtags — and switch the image's brand template live via the template chips, replace the image, or re-run the platform variant.
- Approve sends the post onward to publish (immediately or at its scheduled time).
- Reject keeps the post under the Rejected filter with your comment displayed on it — nothing is deleted, and the original Raw item is untouched, so you can re-promote for a fresh take or edit & approve the rejected post later.
Each post row shows when it was created and when it published (or is scheduled), so you always know what's fresh.
Statuses

| Failed | Publishing failed after retries — a plain-language reason and a Retry button appear on the post |
Retry logic
Temporary platform errors are retried automatically up to 5 times with increasing delays. Permanent errors (expired credentials, missing permissions) are not retried — the post shows what to fix (usually reconnecting the account under Channels). If a post permanently fails, the owner is notified by email so autopilot never fails silently.
