Publishing Content
Amplicast offers multiple ways to create and publish content to your connected platforms.
Manual creation
Use the Create tab to write and publish posts directly:
- Write your post content
- Select the platforms and accounts to publish to
- Optionally attach an image
- Click Publish to post immediately or Schedule to set a future date
From content sources
When you've set up a content source, Amplicast automatically:
- Detects new content in your source
- Creates a content package with the original text and any images
- Transforms the text using AI for each target platform
- Publishes, queues for review, or saves as draft depending on your publishing mode
Review queue
If a source is set to Review mode, transformed posts appear in the review queue:
- Go to Content to see pending posts
- Review the AI-transformed text
- Edit if needed
- Approve to publish or reject to discard
Content pipeline
Every piece of content flows through this pipeline:
Source Content --> Content Package --> AI Transform --> Platform Posts --> Publish
- Content Package -- Groups the original content with its metadata
- AI Transform -- Adapts the content for each platform (length, tone, hashtags)
- Platform Posts -- Individual posts ready for each connected account
- Publish -- Sent to the platform API
Retry logic
If publishing fails (e.g., temporary API error), Amplicast automatically retries up to 5 times with increasing delays. Permanent errors (invalid credentials, permission issues) are not retried.
You can see the status of all posts in the Content tab:
- Draft -- Not yet published
- Scheduled -- Waiting to publish at a set time
- Publishing -- Currently being sent
- Published -- Successfully posted
- Failed -- Publishing failed after all retries
