REST API source

Ingest content from any JSON API that lists your items — your own CMS, a headless backend, an internal service.

Setup​

  1. Sources → Add Source → REST API.
  2. Endpoint URL — the GET endpoint returning your items.
  3. Auth — none, bearer token, API-key header, or basic auth. Secrets are stored encrypted and never shown again.
  4. Map the JSON — the path to the items array (e.g. items or data.posts) and the field paths for external ID, title, content, image, URL, author, tags, published date. Dot-paths reach nested fields.
  5. Test connection validates the endpoint and mapping before saving.
  6. Pick target channels + publishing mode, save.

Items are de-duplicated by external ID across syncs.
