General​

What is Amplicast?​

Amplicast is a content publishing platform that transforms your existing content into platform-ready social media posts using AI. Connect your content sources, set up your channels, and Amplicast handles the transformation and publishing.

Do I need to write content from scratch?​

No. Amplicast is designed to work with content you already have -- blog posts, articles, product updates, newsletters. It transforms that content into platform-specific social posts. You can also create posts from scratch or use Autopilot to generate content on topics you define.

What AI model does Amplicast use?​

Amplicast primarily uses Anthropic's Claude for text transformation. It produces high-quality, natural-sounding content that matches your writing style.

Platforms​

Which social media platforms are supported?​

LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Bluesky, and Facebook. More platforms are on the roadmap.

Can I publish to multiple platforms at once?​

Yes. When you create a post or set up a content source, you can target multiple platforms. Amplicast transforms the content differently for each platform to match its format and audience.

Do I need a Business Instagram account?​

Yes. Instagram's API only supports Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts cannot be connected. See the Instagram setup guide for details.

How do I connect Bluesky?​

Bluesky uses App Passwords instead of OAuth. You'll need to generate an App Password in your Bluesky settings and enter it in Amplicast. See the Bluesky guide.

Content​

How does AI transformation work?​

When content enters Amplicast (from a source or manual input), the AI:

  1. Analyzes the original content
  2. Adapts it for each target platform's format and character limits
  3. Applies your writing style based on your samples
  4. Generates the final post text

Can I edit AI-generated content before publishing?​

Yes. Use Review or Draft publishing mode to review and edit content before it goes live. You can also edit any post directly in the Content tab.

What happens if publishing fails?​

Amplicast automatically retries failed posts up to 5 times. If the error is permanent (e.g., invalid credentials), it stops retrying immediately and marks the post as failed. You can see the error details in the Content tab.

Does Amplicast support images?​

Yes. If your content source includes image URLs, Amplicast will attach them to your posts. For platforms that require images (like Instagram), Amplicast can generate images using AI when none are available.

Billing​

Is there a free plan?​

There is no permanent free plan, but every new account gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required.

Can I cancel anytime?​

Yes. Cancel from the Billing page at any time. Your account stays active until the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods are accepted?​

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Privacy & Security​

Is my content used to train AI models?​

No. Your content is sent to AI providers (Anthropic) for transformation only. It is not stored or used for training.

How are my social media credentials stored?​

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database. We use httpOnly cookies for authentication (not accessible to JavaScript). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Where is my data stored?​

Your data is hosted on DigitalOcean servers. Daily backups are maintained with 14-day retention.

I found a bug. How do I report it?​

Use the feedback widget in the bottom-right corner of the app. Select "Report an issue" and describe what happened. Include screenshots if possible.
