Amplicast supports publishing text and image posts to X (formerly Twitter).

Connecting X​

  1. Go to Channels and click Connect X
  2. Authorize Amplicast to access your X account
  3. Your account will appear in the channels list

What you can publish​

  • Text posts -- Up to 280 characters (or 4,000 for X Premium subscribers)
  • Image posts -- Text with up to 4 attached images

Character limits​

Amplicast automatically adapts your content to fit within X's character limits. The AI transformation shortens content intelligently while preserving the key message.

If your transformed content still exceeds the limit, Amplicast applies a secondary condensing pass to ensure it fits.

Tips for X​

  • Keep tweets concise and punchy
  • Use 1-2 hashtags maximum for best engagement
  • Threads work well for longer content -- consider breaking content into multiple tweets
  • Images significantly boost engagement
  • Best posting times vary but weekday mornings tend to perform well
